(Indianapolis, Ind. ) - HCG sponsored a local family in need this year through the Angel Tree Program, a great program that the Salvation Army has been running for over 30 years. Each year during the holiday season, the Salvation Army Indiana Division provides food assistance to nearly 800 families and Christmas gifts to more than 2,200 children.

In addition to sponsoring a family through the Program, Project Coordinators, Kelly Gordon and Courtney Fleener participated in the distribution of the gifts to the families in need on Monday, December 18. Kelly and Courtney spent time distributing the gifts by joining other volunteers at the Exposition Hall located at the Indiana State Fairgrounds where they distributed more than 2800 packages to families in need.

"It was a great feeling to be a part of this year’s Christmas assistance program," said Gordon. "Thanks [HCG] for allowing us to make a difference in a family’s life this year."
