Staff Spotlight: Kelly Gordon


Q: How long have you been with HCG? When did you start?

Kelly: 5 Years and I started in April of 2012

Q: What titles have you held throughout your time at HCG and when did you have those titles?

Kelly: I’ve always had the same title which is Project Coordinator however my roles and job responsibilities vary depending on HCG needs.

Q: What is your background in the construction industry (i.e. education, experience, previous employers)?

Kelly: I’ve worked in the construction industry for over 15 years with Residential, Commercial and Multi-Family experience.

Q: What is the best thing about your job?

Kelly: What I like most about my job is the people that I work with and the constant team effort that everyone is our office contributes to.

Q: What is the worst thing about your job?

Kelly: I don’t have a worst thing, I like to think everything I do has a purpose.

Q: Family life details: (i.e. are you married, do you have children and/or pets, etc.)

Kelly: I have been married for 8 years to my wonderful husband and I have a 24 year old daughter and a 15 year old stepson.

Q: How do you spend your free time, away from work?

Kelly: I like to spend my free time sipping on Margaritas and spending quality time with my family.

Q: Are you involved in any community groups? (Give details)

Kelly: I am not, however, I do support Operational Love Ministry out of Anderson, Indiana and the local AMVETS organization.

Q: If you could nominate anyone at HCG for “Employee of the Month”, who would it be and why?  

Kelly: I would nominate Mark Sinsko because he has worked extremely hard on the latest Graybar project in South Florida. We finally got the C of O and Mark bought a one way ticket to South Florida to make sure the project stayed on track and was determined to get the Owner exactly what we promised them.
